IMAGES: 2014 AMS Annual Meeting
The 94th American Meteorological Society Annual Meeting was held February 2–6, 2014 in Atlanta. The theme of the 2014 meeting was “Extreme Weather—Climate and the Built Environment: New Perspectives Opportunities, and Tools.”
The AMS meeting also hosted the 10th Symposium on New Generation Operational Environmental Satellite Systems, which highlighted many of the development activities, program science and user-readiness preparations underway in the GOES-R and JPSS programs.
